Civitai Developments
1️⃣ Civitai Policy Update
As global scrutiny of AI-generated content increases, we’re tightening our policies to align with new and upcoming laws and regulations. This means certain content categories are now explicitly banned, including:
Incest
Self-harm
Diaper
Urine and select other bodily-excretion related fetish content
In addition, all content rated X or XXX must now include proper metadata to remain publicly visible.
To help make this happen, we’ve partnered with Clavata.ai - a next-gen moderation system built to support more accurate content tagging and ratings. This partnership will boost how we tag and categorize content across the platform, resulting in fewer false-positive blocks, and fewer incorrect content-level ratings on images!

2️⃣ New Video Generation & Training Features
Huge video news! You can now generate videos using Vidu, Wan 2.1 (with LoRA support!), and Hunyuan (also with LoRA support!) - in the Civitai Generator!

But that’s not all: You can now train your own Wan or Hunyuan video LoRAs in the on-site LoRA trainer! Image datasets only, for now, but we’re rolling out support for video-clip datasets very soon.
3️⃣ Creator Program Update
The first full cycle of the new Civitai Creator Program is now complete, and over 200 Creators have successfully withdrawn their funds!
We're happy to report that over $43K USD was paid out to creators in March, with 254 Creators banking their Buzz to earn a share of the Compensation Pool!
The top earner made $8.5K, and the average payout was $226. Creators earned more per Buzz than in the Beta Program, and April’s Compensation Pool is even bigger, at $46,471.66!

New Video Generation Contest - Running Now!
