On Friday the 13th, Civitai and Project Odyssey brought together some of the biggest names in AI and film for the inaugural Project Odyssey AI Film Gala in San Francisco. With a star-studded guest list and innovative showcases, the event highlighted the power of AI in filmmaking and fostered connections across industries. Read on to find out more!

In a contest that would have been unthinkable just months ago, we’re putting the spotlight on the incredible text generation abilities of Flux and other cutting-edge models. The Civitai Flux Training Contest has officially come to a close, and we were blown away by the response! With tens of thousands of amazing submissions, the creativity and talent on display made the judging process incredibly challenging, but after much deliberation, we’ve managed to narrow it down! We're excited to announce the Text-tacular Showdown Contest where we’re challenge you to incorporate text in creative, compelling, ways using Flux, or other image models!

Whether it’s bold movie posters, intricate book covers, or any other artistic use case, this contest focuses on how well you can incorporate text into your images.

The Civitai Flux Training Contest has officially wrapped up, with tens of thousands of fantastic submissions! It was incredibly difficult to choose the winners, but we finally narrowed it down to these fantastic entries!

Project Odyssey Gala Recap

AI and film industry leaders gathered for the inaugural Project Odyssey AI Film Gala on Friday 13th, in San Francisco, hosted by Civitai and Project Odyssey, with sponsorship from ElevenLabs, iKHOR Labs, Freepik/Magnific, and OpenLicense/The And.Foundation.

As the culmination of Project Odyssey’s global filmmaking competition, the event showcased the groundbreaking use of AI in filmmaking, leadership panels, and exclusive networking to help unify the companies, communities, and creators across the space.
