Welcome Civitans, to the sixth issue of the Civitai Weekly Newsletter! Our mission is to keep you in the loop with everything Civitai. This is your one-stop resource for all the latest updates and developments.
This week we have some of the most exciting news we’ve ever shared! The Civitai.com on-site image generator is now open to all users, and we’ve announced the winners of the SDXL Image and Training Contests!

The Civitai On-Site Image Generator is now available for all users on desktop and mobile devices! The Generator’s still in a Beta phase, but currently works with 99% of SD 1.5 based Checkpoints, LoRA and Embeddings available on Civitai! We’re working hard to add advanced prompting options, and SDXL resource support!
If you’d like to submit feedback on your experience using the Generator, you can send us your thoughts here. We appreciate your input to help us shape the system!
You can access the Generator interface from the Create button at the bottom right of Civitai.com, visible on all pages.
A full guide to getting the most out of the Image Generator will be released shortly!
The on-site Image Generation Interface
Testers are reporting that our Civitai on-site LoRA trainer is 🔥! If you’ve always wanted to train LoRA, but don’t have the hardware (or have never had good results!) - gather your data set and let Civitai.com do the heavy lifting! Training SD1.5 and SDXL LoRA has never been easier, with our preset training configurations! Open now to all who are signed up as Beta testers, and shortly to all Civitai Supporters! Stay tuned!
Our newly introduced Featured Models and Images Homepage blocks are a hit! The blocks showcase hand-picked images, carefully selected by a team of Curators picked from our community! Committed to finding the best undiscovered content, these Curators sift through the creative abundance to bring the most inspiring and imaginative works to the fore. Automatic1111 1.6 is now live on the main branch, with full SDXL refiner support (including reduced SDXL VRAM requirements!), and a whole host of bug fixes and interface tweaks!

Our first Contests were a huge success! Our SDXL Image Generation Contest ended with over 36,500 outstanding accepted entries, and our SDXL Training Contest produced nearly 3,000 fantastic SDXL resources!
